Fishing at the Lakes – a new event! – Sunday August 21st, 2022, from 12-2 p.m.
Let’s go fishing!
Join The Lowry Hill Neighborhood Association and the Kenwood Neighborhood Organization for “Fishing at the Lakes!” This free event is located at the SW corner of Cedar Lake, 2630 Cedar Lake Parkway. Park at the lot, follow the signs to the pier, and join us, rain or shine.
- Fish with the DNR: They’ll provide the poles and bait. No license required!
- Talk to our local experts about the water quality of our lakes.
- Get your questions answered on what we can do to improve the lakes.
- ARTrageous Adventures Fishy Fun Creation Station
- Our youngest participants can even try their own fishing skills in a kiddie pool with artificial fish, or they can just hang out with juice and a snack (provided).
Practice your fishing skills and get a chance to meet some of our wonderful neighbors!
