Neighborhood News Flash:  Voting Update

How to ensure your vote is counted:

For Vote-by-Mail, please drop off your ballot to ensure it arrives by the end of Election Day. The deadline for this is 3:00pm on Tuesday, 11/3. Find the Minneapolis location nearest to you here.

Keep tabs on your ballot here (note: we’ve noticed this site is very busy and may return an error message) to make sure it has been accepted and will be counted. If that doesn’t seem to be the case by Election Day, you can vote on Election Day at your polling place (found here).

Vote Early in person. There are four early vote centers around Minneapolis and they are open on Saturday and Sunday now too. You can do this even if you requested a mail-in ballot but haven’t returned it yet, or if your mail in ballot hasn’t been counted (see the previous bullet to track the status of your ballot) Find out locations and hours here.

Vote on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you have a Vote-by-Mail ballot at home just tear it up and toss it into the recycling bin and go vote as normal. Look here to find your polling location.

If you need help. Look here if you need any kind of HELP (such as voting curbside from your car at the voting location).

If you have a Vote-by-Mail absentee ballot, you need to plan on returning it in-person before 3:00pm on November 3rd.
