Comment: Rental Housing, Transportation Programs

The City of Minneapolis is seeking comments for the Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF) Program. The primary purpose of the AHTF Program is to assist in financing the production and preservation/stabilization of affordable and mixed-income rental housing projects in Minneapolis.

The City of Minneapolis is proposing changes to Naturally Occurring Affordable Housing (NOAH) Preservation Fund program. The purpose of the NOAH Preservation Fund is to help finance the purchase and preservation of unsubsidized rental housing. The primary goal is to prevent displacement of low income renters. From the Twin Cities Metropolitan Council:

The Metropolitan Council is receiving public comment on the Draft 2027 transportation planning work program and related studies. The Unified Planning Work Program:

  • Promotes a unified approach to regional transportation planning to achieve the region’s goals and objectives.

  • Documents transportation planning spending in the upcoming year, including the approximately $5.9 million in federal transportation planning funds.

  • Describes the work that will be undertaken to begin implementing the Metropolitan Council’s 2050 Regional Development Guide (Imagine 2050) and the 2050 Transportation Policy Plan.

  • Serves as the Metropolitan Council’s application for U.S. Department of Transportation planning funds

To achieve a transportation planning process that best reflects the values of the region, we request your feedback on the draft work program and transportation studies.
