Uptown Movie Club is a community driven initiative to consistently connect with neighbors over our love of cinema and to support local businesses that need our help. We need YOU to help make this a success!
Uptown Movie Club will meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 7PM at the Lagoon Cinema in the heart of Uptown. We will gather, watch a film together and discuss after. It's like a book club, but you don't have to read the book!
We are excited to announce that Opening Night will be Wednesday, June 17th at 7PM! We will be showing the documentary "The Baldies". The Baldies were an Uptown based skinhead crew that fought racists in the 1980s and beyond. We will have special guests for a post show discussion!
All attendees will receive a *free drink with proof of ticket at nearby Mari's Watch Bar before or after the show. PLUS, the first 200 tickets sold will receive a brag worthy original Uptown Movie Club t-shirt!
