We’re inviting passionate, community-minded volunteers to join us for the kickoff of the 2026 Uptown Art Fair and help shape what’s ahead. This year is Different. Bigger. More impactful. We’re committing 50% of proceeds to revitalization efforts that will continue long after the tents come down. This is more than a weekend—it’s an investment in Uptown’s future.

We’ve got the Uptown energy. Now we’re building the volunteer team to match.

Come explore where you fit in, meet the community behind the fair, and find your place on a team—whether you're supporting operations, working with artists, or helping bring the experience to life. This is your chance to be part of something that gives back and keeps growing.

Uptown United is a growing group of residents, small business owners, and local organizations who believe Uptown can be safer, healthier, and more vibrant. This effort exists to bring people together around clear, constructive actions that can help Uptown live up to its full potential. Lightly led/coordinated by Felicia Cooper and Steve Ackerman. Attend often or once in a while, no prerequisites and no restrictions on participation. You are welcome to bring food to share but not a requirement.
