5th Precinct Police Serve Lowry Hill Residents

The 5th Precinct is headquarters for Patrol Officers, Precinct Investigations, the Community Response Team and Community Crime Prevention/SAFE Teams. It provides police services to one-fifth of the city of Minneapolis. Its service area is bounded by Interstate 35 W on the East, Interstate 94 on the North and the city limits on the West and South.

Sector 1

The 5th Precinct includes southwest Minneapolis neighborhoods and is divided into two sectors.  Sector 1 includes the Lowry Hill neighborhood and the Cedar-Isles-Dean, East Isles, Kenwood, Lowry Hill East, Lowry Hill, Stevens Square-Loring Heights, and Whittier neighborhoods.

5th Precinct Team
Inspector Kristine Arneson commands the 5th Precinct. Other team members include Lt. Ed Frizell and Crime Prevention Specialist Chelsea Adams.  This team partners with LHNA , attending LHNA board meetings, sharing crime information, and developing neighborhood communication strategies.

LHNA-Police Partnership
